International Airmail: Starting at just $4 USD
Our most popular low cost option for International orders. Available on orders up to 4.0 lbs in weight, total package weight can be seen in shopping cart. Delivery is typically within 7 – 28 business days. No tracking information is available for this option, but we do send confirmation that it has shipped along with a shipment number. See example of reference number on your package. Available to all countries listed in the shipping calculator in your shopping cart. Many times this option will not be charged duty or tax as it is treated as mail and has a very high delivery rate, over 98% success.

International Airmail News:
The following is news related to local postal operations in countries around the world. We will keep this updated as often as possible to help relay information about delays to your country.

Australia – Parts of New South Wales have suffered severe flooding, although it is not known how mail services are affected there is likely to be some delays to post sent to affected areas

Brazil – To protect our company and continue service to Brazil, we have instituded a maximum order value allowed for any single order of $80 for orders to Brazil with International Airmail. Though the strikes from August and September are over, we continue to get reports of slow customs in certain areas due to seasonal fluctuations. Many packages are arriving in 14-18 days, but some locations are taking as long as 8-12 weeks.

Canada – Packages to Canada are currently experiencing long delays due to uprgades being made by the postal and customs service. You can read more about this delay on our blog here.

El Salvador – Customs officials in El Salvador have been striking since 28th November; delays are likely for both inbound and outbound mail to and from El Salvador.

Uruguay – As of December 1st, the staff of Uruguay’s National Customs Directorate began industrial action. This is likely to affect inbound mail sent to Uruguay

Taxes & Charges:
Our shipping cost will include transit and brokerage fees only. In addition to this cost, your may be billed by your local customs for import taxes and duty.

Declaration of Value:
As of December 2011, we have responded to customer requests by declaring the value of your package as 50% of your product costs. This will not take into account discounts per our shipping partners request. All goods are listed as “Other” as this lowers the customs issues. For example, if you ordered 3 items that totaled $100 we would list declare the value of your package as $50.

Description of Merchandise:
For international packages, the customs form will be affixed to the outside of your box. This will list the total quantity of items in the package along with a description of “Nutritional Supplements for Personal Use.” This description has been generated by the guidance of our shipping carriers and will give your package the best chance of clearing customs without additional tax.

Delays, Loss & Customs Hold:
We have spent a great deal of time selecting the best option possible to ensure great value for our customers and the best chance of delivery to international destinations. Because each country has different restrictions and procedures for products and packages, we encourage you to contact your local customs office for restrictions on specific items.

The shipping methods we offer carry a 98%+ delivery rate based on customer and industry feedback. While this is great news for our international customers, we will not offer refunds for packages lost or held in transit or customs.

For packages returned to us due to customs, refusal, or non-delivery issues, we will refund the full cost of the undamaged items minus any shipping costs we incur for return shipping. In the case return shipping costs are greater than the order value, we will abandon the package and are unable to offer any refund.

International FAQ

I placed an international order and cannot track my package, why?
Some shipping methods such as International Airmail cannot be tracked as individual packages are not scanned. There is no information that we can give you which will allow you to track these packages. We ship out large bundles of orders directly into many countries which makes our international shipping charges lower than many online retailers. Should you need tracking information, you may use a premium shipping option like UPS or FedEx if it is offered for your country. Use the shipping calculator in your shopping cart to view your full range of options.

When will my international order ship?
While we utilize a wide network of distribution centers and warehouses in the USA to maintain our offering, we must first consolidate all international orders to one location before shipping. This may add several days processing time to your order depending on the item availability and location within our network. We follow this procedure to ensure we can:

Offer a low cost shipping method for our international customers
Send all packages through the fastest shipping channels
Avoid customs delays and fines by shipping in one package

What if I do not receive my package or it takes too long, can I just file with my credit card or PayPal, for a refund?
Our official policy, as noted above, is that we are unable to offer refunds for international packages due to delay, loss, or customs hold. To protect our customers who value our ability to get products into countries around the world, any attempt to file a claim with your bank or credit card will put your account into a “Suspended” status. While we work to provide proof of shipment for your bank or credit card to return funds to us, you will no longer be allowed to order from our site or any of our subsidiaries. While this may seem harsh, we must do this to ensure our company continues to serve our long time customers who agree to our international shipping policies and understand the risks associated with this service.

To have your account reinstated, you will need to contact us directly and request an account review. Any charges still outstanding will need to be paid for in addition to this review process.

What does the International Airmail 1-4 weeks process look like?
Many customers want to know the specifics of how our International Airmail works. The below information details International Airmail step by step:

You place your order online and we consolidate all items into the center to be shipped out.
The packages are picked up by our workshare partners, who transports the items.
Packages are sorted at the package facilities and begin shipping to the destination regions.
Packages arrive at customs in your country and go through inspection. This step can cause significant delay based on how quickly your customs is currently operating.
Packages are passed in to the local postal system and begin making delivery to your address.

What if my package arrives and some or all of the items are damaged?
If your package contains broken or damaged items, please email customerservice@maxhealthspot.com immediately. We will need proof of the damage which can be given with a quick photo of the items in question. For damaged products, we may issue a store credit for you. Because we take extra care in packaging, there are very few issues with damaged items. Currently, less than 1% of all orders have any issues.

What will the customs label look like and can you mark my package as a gift or adjust the value please?

Your product will be shipped in non discript, blank cardboard boxes. It will not have our logo on the outside or any indication of what the items are inside the package. We aim to make the boxes as plain as possible to avoid customs opening the package up and assessing tax or duty.
